We've owned, brokered and driven dozens of E39 M5s, and given that they're all more than 20 years old now we've observed noticeable variations from car to car in terms of the smoothness of the power delivery and overall drivetrain.

This one runs and drives very well (among the best we've driven) despite some minor cosmetic flaws. Recent service under present ownership within the last two years includes clutch slave and master cylinders, Continental tires, front brakes, new battery, cupholders, LCM replacement and regular oil services. It is mostly stock -- the wheels have been refinished in a matte grey and the nav display has been updated to a later unit along with BlueBus Bluetooth connectivity. CarFax is available and shows one "minor damage" accident from last year (repair records available) along with several service entries and consistent mileage readings. Good dash pixels, cold A/C.
